Keep chatting while you watch it work

When Klaus uses a browser or a desktop app, the screen it is working on floats beside your chat and updates live. Keep reading replies and writing your next message, with no need to switch windows to keep an eye on it.

  • Drag to any cornerLet go and it snaps to the nearest corner, clear of the sidebar and composer
  • Drag a corner to resizeLongest side from 100 to 400, and your choice is remembered
  • Click to jump thereGo straight to the tab or window it is working in

Drag the card to another corner, or drag its opposite corner to resize it. The task is done: the card freezes on the last frame and is marked complete. Hidden. Show it again from the Overview panel any time.

Only where it belongs

The card follows the task: it appears only in the chat you are in, only while something is actually being operated, and tucks away when you switch chats. When the task ends it freezes, is marked complete, and leaves on its own shortly after.

Browser
The built-in browser or your connected Chrome, showing the tab in use
Desktop apps
The app window that computer use is allowed to operate
Hide
Hide it for this chat, or for every active chat
Stays in bounds
Shows only what is allowed to be operated, and never prompts for a new system permission
Recorded in the real client: the agent walks through checkout in the built-in browser, the card follows each step and freezes when done.

Questions

When does the card appear?

Whenever Klaus uses a browser or operates a desktop app in the chat you are in, showing what it is working on. Switch to another chat, or open the browser panel on the right, and it tucks away rather than duplicating the panel.

How do I bring it back after hiding it?

Click Show in the Computer Use row of the Overview panel to show it for the current chat. After Hide for all active chats, later chats stay hidden by default until you show it again in one of them.

Which platforms support it?

It is macOS only for now and needs Klaus to already have Screen Recording permission; without it, it explains why instead of prompting for you. On Windows the agent works as usual, just without the card.
