Getting Started with Klaus iOS

From installing via TestFlight and signing in with the same account, to seeing your first desktop device on your iPhone.

Install and Sign In

Klaus iOS is currently distributed as a TestFlight beta. Once you have been granted test access, install or update Klaus through TestFlight on your iPhone, then open the app.

The sign-in page supports three methods:

  • Email and password;
  • Google;
  • GitHub.

Choose the same Klaus account you use on desktop. Your Klaus account here is what identifies your devices and sessions; it is not the same thing as the subscription logins for model sources such as Claude, ChatGPT/Codex or Qoder.

Allow Remote Control on Your Computer

On the computer you want to connect to:

  1. Open the Klaus desktop app and sign in with the same Klaus account.
  2. Go to "Settings → Remote Control".
  3. Turn on "Allow remote control of this device".
  4. Keep Klaus running and connected to the network.

Once the switch is on, that computer joins your account's device list. Back on your iPhone, refresh the device list or tap "Reconnect All Devices"; you usually don't need to sign in again.

Start a Remote Session

  1. On your iPhone, pick an online computer from the device list.
  2. Open an existing session from a project or conversation; you can also start a new session on the current desktop app.
  3. Type a message and send it. The task runs on the computer you selected, with replies and tool status synced to your phone.
  4. If the task needs a permission confirmation, handle it right on your phone; use the stop action when you need it to stop.

When a device shows offline, its past sessions may still appear in the list, but new actions have to wait until the desktop app is back online. For common connection problems, see Troubleshooting.
